After more than 15 years working with the biggest beauty brands, estheticians and dermatologists, Garance Doré and Emily Yeston created Doré so you wouldn’t have to spend time thinking about your skincare anymore.
Doré was born out of our shared passion and desire to treasure the simplest pleasures that life has to offer. We set out to reimagine how the products we discovered in our youth, handed to us by our mothers, exchanged with our friends and recommended by our mentors, could be revolutionized for today.
Our products are straightforward and effective without harsh, sensitizing ingredients, allowing for a gentle repair and hydration of the skin while minimizing steps in your skincare routine. All products are suitable for sensitive skin and are EWG VERIFIED™ for your safety. Nature is important to us, which is why our products are manufactured with the environment in mind. We are constantly evolving our packaging and manufacturing practices to continue to do less harm. We’ve partnered with Bluebird to measure our impact, and all of our products are certified Plastic Neutral in partnership with rePurpose Global. It's an on-going process and we're all about progress, not perfection.
In addition to using PCR plastic and planet-friendly packaging alternatives, we’re certified Plastic Neutral through rePurpose Global, which means we remove the same amount of plastic from the environment as we put in, including PCR plastics, thus creating a net-zero plastic footprint.
When it comes to our packaging, we are continually innovating to add refills and innovative materials as they become available. We’ve also worked to eliminate as much secondary packaging as possible.
We’ve partnered with Bluebird Climate to measure the carbon and end of life impact of our product manufacturing and packaging. Doré‘s primary packaging is recyclable and we list the full recycling instructions on each individual product page. While recycling isn’t a perfect solution, it remains an important part of reducing our environmental impact. It’s one of many actions we believe in to help lighten our footprint — and we’re always exploring ways to do more.
