After battling with her own health issues and skin irritations as a result of the chemicals found in cosmetics at the time, master makeup artist Rose-Marie Swift was the first in the industry to set a high standard for performance and better ingredient choices in makeup and skincare. Her passion for truth in beauty inspired her to create her own products and launch RMS in 2009.

As an artist-led brand that puts health and safety first, we are constantly inspired to maximize performance, while creating our own clean standards. Why? The United States currently bans only 30 ingredients from personal care products. At RMS, there are currently over 2,700 ingredients that we do not use.
