Founders Story
Emily & Oliver

After years of living in NYC and working in the beauty industry, we’d seen behind the curtain—and it wasn’t always pretty. So we moved to beautiful Vermont, and started asking: what if skincare could be different? Uplifting, effective, easy, and truly clean? We created Ursa Major for people who want to treat their skin—and spirit—right. No fear-based marketing. No fluff. Just pure, powerful forest-infused essentials that deliver real results, while delighting the senses. Here’s to your healthiest, happiest self… and your best skin yet! Ursa Major

Sky’s the limit

We’re committed to raising the bar for what it means to be a sustainable skincare company— starting with the small things, and working toward the big ones.

We’re a certified B Corp

This means our business has been evaluated at every level—from our internal policies to our suppliers to our environmental impact. We’re also part of the B Beauty Coalition of B Corp-certified beauty and personal care brands working to improve our industry’s standards.

Recycling with Pact Collective

We partner with Pact Collective, a nonprofit tackling beauty industry waste, to sort, clean, and responsibly recycle our returned products through their recycling programs. See ya never, landfill!

We’re Certified Plastic Negative

This means that in partnership with the world’s leading plastic waste recovery group, rePurpose Global, we fund the removal of twice as much plastic from the environment as we produce.
