After use pop out the refill and the outer tube can be recycled, home composted, or simply thrown away where it will naturally biodegrade into dirt. The lipstick refill capsule is made with at least 50% post consumer recycled PET and can be easily popped out of the tube for cleaning and recycling with Pact when empty.
